The current owners reconstructed this apartment from the remnants of the previous factory structure. The owner, an architect by trade, was inspired by his experience living in New York City to take on the reconstruction project. He expanded the windows to expose the picturesque Sieve River below and the Ponte sulla Sieve bridge (commissioned by the Medici family), which can be seen clearly through multiple windows.
